Buzzbee, the African Bitcoin Queen, returns to South Africa after a trip to Jamaica, reconnecting with nature atop Table Mountain. She transforms a Bitcoin into a transporter to reach her home near Bitcoin EKASI, where she checks on her koji and prepares miso soup. Summoned by her miners, she travels through a Tree of Life into the Bitcoin Cathedral to her decentralized network. The story concludes with Buzzbee performing the waggle dance, celebrating her miners' contributions. The animation creatively weaves themes of nature, community, and the importance of decentralized systems throughout Buzzbee's adventures.

Buzzbee was destined to be a great WILD queen bee but for the Mad Cow who loves to use chemicals from secret labs to spray on bee colonies. Her hive was caught up in some Mad Cow chemical warfare that lowered their defences. Soon after the hive was invaded by a virus that deforms the wings of bees. Buzzbee was born with deformed wings and according to custom was expelled from the hive as she could no longer preform her duties as a queen bee... :)
Buzzbee works at healing herself, first and foremost, through her daily practices. Her goal is to learn about the universal values and cultural mores related to the human activities based around Love, Sex, Drugs and Money. In her ardent pursuit of these goals she morphed into a creature --- part bee, part human.
Buzzbee is ageless and timless. Her super power is her ability to scale up and down from being a very small bee to a big Human as she explores the cultures of bees, humans and fungi around the world. Somewhere along the path she discovered Bitcoin and found that it is a great vehicle for transporting her to various locations around the world without straining her wings.

The African Bitcoin Queen was included in the poster on the right by BitPopArt. Finding Buzzbee is a bit of a challenge. It's kinda like the game of "Where's Wally?" Nevertheless, Buzzbee is grateful to be included in this cast of characters!

A13MW has been studying Art and Animation for decades. The character of the Queen Bee is an original character that has been in her portfolio since 2000. However, since Buzzbee lacked a compelling vision she was in limbo. Bitcoin is that story. Over the next decade A13MW will create an animated series set in a funky kitchen. It will star the Queen Bee, known as the African Bitcoin Queen, a Mad Cow in a bull Market bubble and a Japanese fungus named KOJI, who comes to save the Queen Bee.
In May of 2025 A13MW's animation short entitled HODL/HODL was shown at the Bitcoin Film Festival, in Warsaw, Poland. The African Bitcoin Queen, aka Buzzbee, was the Star of this short which was set in Jamaica. Below is an animated loop of The African Bitcoin Queen visiting Jamaica in 2025.
